若以唯識為外觀者，唯色之觀為在於何？《四念處》約唯識唯色分於內外兩觀非不顯然，上人何得故違宗教，堅令唯識為外觀耶？

If one takes consciousness-only to be outer contemplation, where would the contemplation of form-only lie? In the Si nianchu, the division into inner and outer contemplations based on consciousness-only and form-only is completely clear; how could the Venerable deliberately contravene our tradition and teaching, stubbornly asserting that consciousness-only is outer contemplation?
