若約荊溪所立，則內外一門全不明觀法也。何者？以實相、唯識二觀唯約內心而論故。上人既將內外一門只對歷於外法泯合之文，豈非全不明實相、唯識二種觀法耶？

If taken according to what Jingxi established, then the single gate of Internal and External would not clarify the contemplation method at all! Why? Because the two contemplations of true reality and consciousness-only are discussed solely with respect to the internal mind. Since your reverence matches the single gate of Internal and External solely with the text of ranging across external dharmas and fusing in unison, is it not the case that it does not clarify the two contemplation methods of true reality and consciousness-only at all?
