故《淨名》云：觀身實相，觀佛亦然。豈非以內例外耶？分真尚爾，相似、觀行可知。

Thus the Vimalakīrti Sutra states: 'To contemplate the true mark of one's own body is to contemplate the Buddha in the same way.' Is this not using the internal to extend by analogy to the external? If it is so even for partial reality, semblance and contemplation-practice can be known [to be so as well].
