Now, the three dharmas are each wondrous, and there is certainly no superiority or inferiority among them. Since the mind-dharma can serve as a single pearl pervasively encompassing all pearls, why should sentient beings and Buddhas not each be likened to a single pearl encompassing all pearls? Furthermore, the metaphor of Indra's net originally revealed the meaning that dependent and direct retributions, form and mind, internal and external, self and other, all completely encompass the rest whenever any single one is raised. By twisting it to fit your own view, you have caused this complete metaphor to fall biasedly to one side.
