況今來義狀，一向自令行人攝法歸心修乎觀行。此文顯然招伏十種三法不是事法之觀，何得堅執全同《淨名》、《觀音》事法觀耶？以彼二疏文中顯示二種觀門，且非行人自立觀法。

Furthermore, the newly arrived Statement of Doctrines entirely has the practitioner subsume dharmas into the mind to cultivate contemplation practice by oneself. This text clearly concedes that the ten kinds of threefold dharmas are not phenomenal contemplation; how can you adamantly insist that they are completely identical to the phenomenal contemplation in the Jingming and Guanyin [commentaries]? For those two commentaries explicitly display the two contemplation gates in their texts, rather than the practitioner establishing the contemplation method oneself.
