又章安述作之際人事艱危，但得正義顯彰，旁論觀法故且略之。豈比大師在日，法侶顒顒，皆欲隨言修證。此時豈可不附十法立乎觀心耶？

Moreover, at the time of Zhang'an's composition, human affairs were fraught with danger and hardship; so long as the correct meaning was clearly illuminated, he temporarily omitted the collateral discussion of the contemplation method. How can this compare to when the Great Master was alive, when his companions in the Dharma gathered with eager anticipation, all wishing to cultivate and realize in accordance with his words? At that time, how could he not have appended the contemplation of the mind to the ten dharmas?
