復次，修勸請方法。（行者應知，勸請能滅魔障及謗方等之罪，所得功德，如人以滿殑伽沙三千大千世界七寶，供養一切諸佛功德。既知是已，起殷重心，五體投地，口作是言：）

Next, the method of practicing entreaty. (The practitioner should know that entreaty can eradicate demonic obstacles and the offense of slandering the vaipulya scriptures. The merit obtained is like the merit of a person offering the seven treasures filling trichiliocosms as numerous as the sands of the Gaṅgā to all Buddhas. Having understood this, arouse an earnest mind, cast the five limbs to the ground, and speak these words:)
