第一、破大乘無相妄執者。就中有二：一、總生起，欲令後代學者明識是非，去邪向正；第二、廣就繫情，顯正破之。

First, refuting the false attachment to Mahāyāna signlessness: Within this there are two: 1. a general introduction, wishing to cause future students to clearly recognize right from wrong, discarding heterodoxy and turning toward orthodoxy; second, addressing the attached sentiments at length to reveal the truth and refute them.
