答曰：「然彼淨土乃是阿彌陀如來清淨本願，無生之生。非如三有眾生愛染，虛妄執著生也。何以故？夫法性清淨畢竟無生，而言生者，得生者之情耳。」

He answers: "However, that Pure Land is Amitābha Tathāgata's pure original vow; it is the birth of non-birth. It is not like the passionate craving and false clinging to birth of sentient beings in the three realms of existence. Why is this? The nature of phenomena is pure and ultimately unarisen; and when 'birth' is spoken of, it is only from the perspective of the feelings of those who attain rebirth."
