Again draw the mind upward: next visualize the rounded mark of the throat and neck, and the rounded mark of the two shoulders. Next, visualize the plump and rounded mark of both arms. Next, visualize the flat and full thousand-spoked wheel mark on the two palms, the ten fingers being slender and long with the mark of webbed netting between the fingers, and the nails having the color of red copper. Again draw the mind upward: next visualize the flat and full mark on the Buddha's chest, where the mark of ten thousand virtues shines brightly. Next, visualize the flat and non-protruding mark of the abdomen. Next, visualize the round and deep mark of the navel, its light constantly illuminating inside and out. Next, visualize the flat and full kośopagata-vasti-guhya, like the moon on the night of the fifteenth day, and no different from the flat areas of the abdomen and back. The Buddha said: 'If a man or woman is full of greed for sensual desire, upon visualizing the Tathāgata's kośopagata-vasti-guhya, their lustful mind will immediately cease, their sinful obstacles will be eradicated, and they will attain immeasurable merit. All Buddhas will rejoice, celestial and earthly spirits will guard them closely with good will, and they will enjoy long life, peace, and happiness, forever free from illness and pain.' Next, visualize the two thighs and knees, the knee bones being rounded and full. Next, visualize the two shanks like the legs of the king of deer. Next, visualize the two heels like the trunk of the king of elephants. Next, visualize the insteps of the two feet, high like the back of the tortoise king. Next, visualize the ten toes of the feet, long with webbed netting between the toes, and the nails having the color of red copper. Next, visualize the Buddha's mark of sitting in paryaṅkāsana, placing the left foot on the right thigh aligned with the outer edge, and placing the right foot on the left thigh aligned with the outer edge. Next, visualize the soles of the two feet, flat, with the thousand-spoked wheel mark, complete with spokes and rim, all having radiance that completely illuminates the kṣetras of the ten directions. From the crown down to the thousand-spoked wheel mark on the feet is called the complete contemplation of the merit of the adornments of the Buddha's physical body; this is called the forward contemplation.
