1.34

又如第九真身觀說云：彌陀佛金色身毫相光明遍照十方眾生，身毛孔光亦遍照眾生，圓光亦遍照眾生，八萬四千相好等光亦遍照眾生。又如前身相等光，一一遍照十方世界。但有專念阿彌陀佛眾生，彼佛心光常照是人，攝護不捨。總不論照攝餘雜業行者。此亦是現生護念增上緣。

Furthermore, as stated in the ninth contemplation of the true body: The light of the ūrṇā-lakṣaṇa of Amitābha Buddha's golden-colored body shines everywhere upon sentient beings of the ten directions; the light of the pores of his body also shines everywhere upon sentient beings; the nimbus also shines everywhere upon sentient beings; and the lights of the eighty-four thousand marks and signs also shine everywhere upon sentient beings. Again, like the aforementioned lights of his physical marks, each shines everywhere upon the worlds of the ten directions. Only for those sentient beings who focusedly recollect Amitābha Buddha, that Buddha's heart-light constantly shines upon this person, gathering and protecting them without abandoning them. It completely disregards illuminating and gathering practitioners of other miscellaneous karmic activities. This too is the predominant condition of protection and mindful maintenance in the present life.
