又如《十往生經》說，佛告山海慧菩薩及以阿難：「若有人專念西方阿彌陀佛願往生者，我從今已去，常使二十五菩薩影護行者，不令惡鬼惡神惱亂行者，日夜常得安穩。」此亦是現生護念增上緣。

Furthermore, as stated in the Sūtra on the Ten Rebirths, the Buddha told Bodhisattva Śailasamudramati and Ānanda: "If there is a person who focusedly recollected Amitābha Buddha of the West, vowing to be reborn there, from now on I will constantly cause twenty-five bodhisattvas to shadow and protect the practitioner, not allowing evil ghosts and evil spirits to trouble or disturb the practitioner, so that day and night they are constantly secure and peaceful." This too is the predominant condition of protection and mindful maintenance in the present life.
