Buddhānusmṛti is a dhāraṇī, possessing unhindered eloquence; generosity, morality, forbearance, diligence, meditation, wisdom, as well as upāya, vows, power, and knowledge are all completely fulfilled within it. Because of buddhānusmṛti, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, whatever one seeks is obtained. If one can practice buddhānusmṛti oneself, give to others, and teach others buddhānusmṛti, this corresponds to generosity; because of buddhānusmṛti all sins are extinguished, which is morality; evil dharmas not arising is forbearance; walking, standing, sitting, and lying down with the Buddha's name not departing from one's mind and mouth is diligence; having deep faith without doubt and sincerely practicing buddhānusmṛti so that in the pure land one is born into there is no regress, this is meditation; because of long exertion in reciting the Buddha's name, comprehending the text of all sūtras and teachings as soon as one opens them, this is wisdom. Therefore, buddhānusmṛti is a dhāraṇī and unhindered eloquence.
