師問僧：「爾名什麼？」僧云：「請和尚安名？」師却稱：「良价。」僧無對。雲居代曰：「恁麼則無出頭處。」又曰：「恁麼則總被和尚占却也。」

The Master asked a monk, 'What is your name?' The monk said, 'Please, upādhyāya, give me a name.' The Master then called out, 'Liangjie.' The monk had no answer. Yunju spoke on his behalf: 'In that case, there is no way to stick one's head out.' He also said, 'In that case, the upādhyāya has occupied it completely.'
