僧問：「如何是空劫已前自己？」師曰：「白馬入蘆華。」官人問：「有人修行否？」師曰：「待公作男子即修行。」

A monk asked, "What is oneself before the empty kalpa?" The Master said, "A white horse entering reed blossoms." An official asked, "Does anyone cultivate the practice?" The Master said, "Wait until you become a man, then you will cultivate the practice."
