1.93

舉：「盤山上堂夫『心月孤圓，光吞萬象；光非照境，境亦非存。光境俱亡，復是何物？』」師曰：「光境未亡，復是何物？」

[The Master] cited: "Panshan took the hall [and said], 'The moon of the mind is singly round; its light swallows the myriad forms. The light does not illumine objects, nor do objects exist. When light and objects are both extinguished, what thing is it again?'" The Master said, "When light and objects are not yet extinguished, what thing is it again?"
