1.94

舉：「鄧隱峯在石頭，頭剗草次，峯在頭左側叉手而立，頭飛剗子向峯前剗一株草。峯云：『和尚秖剗得這個，不剗得那箇？』頭提起剗子，峯接得便作剗草勢。頭曰：『汝秖剗得那個，不解剗得這個。』峯無對。」師代曰：「還有堆阜麼？」

[The Master] cited: "When Deng Yinfeng was at Shitou's place, Shitou was weeding. Yinfeng stood on Shitou's left with his hands clasped. Shitou swung his weed-hoe toward the front of Yinfeng and cut a stalk of weed. Yinfeng said, 'The upādhyāya can only weed this one, but cannot weed that one.' Shitou lifted up the weed-hoe, and Yinfeng took it and made a posture of weeding. Shitou said, 'You can only weed that one, but do not understand how to weed this one.' Yinfeng had no reply." The Master said in his place, "Are there still any mounds left?"
