1.22

師問金峯志曰：「作甚麼來？」金峯云：「蓋屋來。」師曰：「了也未？」金峯云：「這邊則了。」師曰：「那邊事作麼生？」金峯云：「候下工日白和尚。」師曰：「如是如是。」

The Master asked Jinfeng Zhi, "What have you been doing?" Jinfeng said, "I have been thatching the roof." The Master said, "Is it finished yet?" Jinfeng said, "This side is finished." The Master said, "What about the matter on that side?" Jinfeng said, "I will report to the Master on the day the work ends." The Master said, "So it is, so it is."
