舉：「疎山和尚問僧：『什麼處來？』僧云：『嶺中來。』山云：『曾到雪峯麼？』僧云：『曾到。』山云：『我已前到時，是事不足，如今作麼生？』僧云：『如今足也。』山云：『粥足飯足？』無語。」師云：「粥足飯足。」

He cited: "Master Shushan asked a monk: 'Where do you come from?' The monk said: 'From within the Mountains.' Shan said: 'Did you reach Xuefeng?' The monk said: 'I reached it.' Shan said: 'When I arrived there previously, matters were insufficient; how is it now?' The monk said: 'Now it is sufficient.' Shan said: 'Are gruel and rice sufficient?' The monk gave no answer." The Master said: "Gruel and rice are sufficient."
