師一日披袈裟云：「我抖擻法身也。」總無對，師云：「汝問我。」僧便問：「和尚抖擻法身意旨如何？」師云：「我也知爾親。」

One day the Master donned his kāṣāya and said, "I have shaken out the dharmakāya." Everyone was silent without reply. The Master said, "You, ask me!" A monk then asked, "What is the meaning of the upādhyāya shaking out the dharmakāya?" The Master said, "I too know you are close."
