一日云：「萬法從什麼處起？」代云：「不可向和尚道蝦蟇口裏也。」

One day he said, "From where do the ten thousand dharmas arise?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "One cannot tell the Upādhyāya that it is from inside a frog's mouth."
