因園頭請師喫茶，師云：「儞若煎茶，我有箇報答儞處。」無對。師云：「汝問我，與汝道。」園頭云：「請師報答。」師云：「多著水，少著米。」代云：「得人一牛，還人一馬。」又云：「金字茶六百錢一斤。」

Because the head of the garden invited the Master to drink tea, the Master said, "If you brew tea, I have a place to repay you." There was no answer. The Master said, "You ask me, and I will tell you." The head of the garden said, "Please, Master, repay me." The Master said, "Put in more water, put in less rice." Answering on their behalf, he said, "Receiving an ox from someone, one returns a horse to them." He also said, "Gold-character tea is six hundred cash a pound."
