3.13

師問僧：「爾是修造那？」云：「是。」師云：「盡乾坤是箇屋，作麼生是屋主？」無對。師云：「爾問我，與汝道。」僧便問，師云：「薨。」代前語云：「瞞却多少人來。」

The Master asked a monk, "Are you doing construction work?" He said, "Yes." The Master said, "The entire universe is a single house; who is the master of the house?" There was no reply. The Master said, "Ask me, and I will tell you." The monk then asked, and the Master said, "Crash!" Answering on his behalf for the previous remark, he said, "How many people have been deceived!"
