師問僧：「甚處來？」僧云：「崇壽來。」師云：「崇壽有何言句？」僧云：「崇壽指橙子謂眾云：『識得橙子，周匝有餘。』」師云：「我即不與麼？」僧云：「和尚又如何？」師云：「識得橙子，天地懸殊。」

The Master asked a monk, "Where have you come from?" The monk said, "I came from Chongshou." The Master said, "What words were spoken at Chongshou?" The monk said, "Chongshou pointed to a bench and told the assembly, 'If you recognize the bench, it is all-pervasive and more than enough.'" The Master said, "I would not say so." The monk said, "What would the Upādhyāya say?" The Master said, "If you recognize the bench, heaven and earth are worlds apart."
