3.35

問僧：「喫得幾箇餬餅？」云：「三箇。」師拈起餬餅云：「這箇是第幾箇？」無對。師云：「爾問我。」僧便問，師云：「不出。」代云：「欺敵者亡。」

He asked a monk, "How many sesame cakes can you eat?" He said, "Three." The Master held up a sesame cake and said, "Which one is this?" There was no reply. The Master said, "Ask me." The monk then asked, and the Master said, "It does not come out." Answering on his behalf, he said, "He who underestimates the enemy perishes."
