3.90

問僧：「甚處來？」僧云：「摘茶來。」師云：「摘得幾箇達磨？」代云：「新茶宜少喫。」又云：「因摘春茶，不廢功力。」

[The Master] asked a monk, "Where have you come from?"
The monk said, "I have come from picking tea."
The Master said, "How many Bodhidharmas did you pick?"
Answering on their behalf, he said, "One should drink little of the new tea."
He also said, "By picking the spring tea, the effort is not wasted."
