舉：「大慈上堂云：『山僧不解答話，祇能識病。』時有僧出，大慈便歸方丈。」師云：「眾中喚作病，在目前不識。」

[The Master] cited: "Daci ascended the hall and said, 'This mountain monk does not know how to answer questions; he can only recognise sickness.' At that time, a monk came forward, and Daci immediately returned to the Abbot's quarters." The Master said, "In the assembly it is called sickness, yet right before their eyes they do not recognise it."
