舉：「僧問大珠：『如何是佛？』大珠云：『清譚對面，非佛而誰。』眾皆茫然。」師云：「是即沒交涉。」

[The Master] cited: "A monk asked Dazhu, 'What is the Buddha?' Dazhu said, 'Pure talk face to face—if not the Buddha, who is it?' The assembly was entirely bewildered." The Master said, "Even if it is so, it has no relevance."
