「佛弟子畢陵伽婆蹉，見一僧塔，觀知是凡夫，恐遭天人禮，到彼坼却，被六群尼來打，一無言對。」代云：「好心無好報。」

"The Buddha's disciple Pilindavatsa saw a monk's stūpa and, observing it, knew it belonged to an ordinary man. Fearing that devas and humans would mistakenly pay homage to it, he went there and tore it down. He was beaten by the group of six nuns and had not a word to reply." Replacing [the original words], he said: "A good heart receives no good reward."
