「又魚軍容問：『師住白崖山，如何修行？』師喚童子來，以手摩頂云：『惺惺直言惺惺，歷歷直言歷歷，他後莫受人瞞。』軍容無語。」代云：「爭肯。」

"Commissioner Yu also asked, 'Master, living on Mount Baidya, how do you practice?' The Master called a boy over, stroked his head with his hand, and said, 'When alert, speak plainly of alert; when distinct, speak plainly of distinct. Later on, do not be deceived by others.' The Commissioner had no words." Replacing [the original words], he said, "How could he agree?"
