「鎮州天王院主，官人問：『什麼功德？』云：『護國天王。』云：『只護此國，偏護餘國？』云：『在秦為秦，在楚為楚。』云：『臘月二十九日，打破鎮州城，天王向什麼處去來？』」代云：「喜對尊顏。」

"An official asked the director of the Heavenly King Cloister in Zhenzhou: 'What merit is this?' He said: 'The Heavenly King Who Protects the Country.' The official said: 'Does he protect only this country, or does he also protect other countries?' He said: 'In Qin he is for Qin, in Chu he is for Chu.' The official said: 'On the twenty-ninth day of the twelfth month, when the city of Zhenzhou is breached, where did the Heavenly King go?'" Replacing [the director's words], he said: "Joyfully facing your honorable countenance."
