我有牧童兒，風姿爽古貌，心通廓太虛，性直量還奧。毛端三界現，微塵六趣倒，傷嗟洗耳翁，却被牽牛笑。

I have a cowherd boy, / His breeze-like manner crisp, with ancient mien. / His mind penetrates and broadens into the great void; / His nature is straightforward, his capacity profound. / On the tip of a hair, the three realms appear; / In a fine dust particle, the six destinies overturn. / Alas, the elder who washed his ears / Was laughed at by the one leading the ox!
