示眾云：「智海無風，因覺妄以成凡；覺妄元虛，即凡心而見佛。只恁麼休去，便道同安無折合。隨汝顛倒所欲，南斗七，北斗八。」

He instructed the assembly, saying: "When the ocean of wisdom is windless, through awakening to delusion one becomes an ordinary being. Awakening to delusion is fundamentally empty; right within the ordinary mind one sees the Buddha. Just resting in this manner, you then say Tong'an has no discount. According to your inverted desires: the Southern Dipper is seven, the Northern Dipper is eight."
