上堂，云：「心隨萬境轉，轉處實能幽。」拍禪床一下云：「釋迦老子，被蟭螟虫吞却了也，且喜天下太平。」喝一喝上堂，云：「時雨霖霖，悅耕人心，頭頭顯煥，金不博金。參！」

Ascending the hall, he said: “The mind turns following myriad conditions; / Where it turns is truly profound.” He struck the meditation bed once and said: “Old man Śākya has been swallowed up by a midge! Rejoice that all under heaven is at peace!” He gave a shout, ascended the hall, and said: “The timely rain pours down, delighting the farmer’s heart. Everything is vividly apparent; gold is not traded for gold. Engage!”
