上堂云：「有鹽曰醎，無鹽曰澹，太平聞說，口似匾檐。」便下座。

Ascending the hall, he said, "With salt it is called salty; without salt it is called bland. Taiping hears this spoken of, and his mouth is like a carrying pole." He then stepped down from the seat.
