上堂云：「先入白雲門，次過白雲浪，吞底栗蒲禪，喫底籼米飯，君子如到來，好好看方便。」

Ascending the hall, he said: "First entering the gate of Baiyun, / Then crossing the waves of Baiyun, / Chan of caltrop-pod swallowings, / Meals of non-glutinous rice. / If a gentleman should come here, / Carefully consider expedient means."
