上堂，舉：「古人云：『釋迦彌勒猶是他奴。』且道他是誰？」便下座。

Ascending the hall, he cited: "An ancient said, 'Śākyamuni and Maitreya are still his servants.' Tell me, who is he?" He then stepped down from the seat.
