上堂云：「應接無方唯是此，一毛端上廊心田，生枝延蔓魔家族，點點舒光曜祖天。」

Ascending the hall, the Master said: “Responding to situations without fixed bounds is only this; / Atop a single hair-tip, the mind-ground is expanded. / Growing branches and spreading vines, Māra's family clan; / Dot by dot unfolding radiance, illuminating the ancestral sky.”
