上堂云：「天得一以清，地得一以寧，衲僧得一無風浪起。爾若辯得，禍不入慎家之門。」

Ascending the hall, he said: "'Heaven obtains the One and thereby becomes clear; earth obtains the One and thereby becomes tranquil;' when a patch-robed monk obtains the One, no winds or waves arise. If you can discern this, misfortune will not enter the gates of a prudent family."
