一日云：「山河無隔礙，光明處處透，傅大士騎驢，入爾鼻孔裏，見爾諸人不惺惺，却歸雙林寺去也。」便下座。

One day he said: "Mountains and rivers have no barrier; radiance penetrates everywhere. Mahāsattva Fu rides a donkey right into your nostrils; seeing that you people are not awake, he returns to Shuanglin Temple!" He then stepped down from the seat.
