妙濟於僧前書一字，問云：「是什麼？」僧云：「不識。」濟云：「滿口道著。」別云：「老僧罪過。」

Miaoji wrote a character in front of a monk and asked, "What is this?" The monk said, "I do not recognize it." Miaoji said, "You have spoken it with your whole mouth." In an alternative [the Master] said, "This old monk's transgression!"
