玄沙問南際云：「此事惟我能知，長老作麼生會？」際云：「須知有不求知者。」別云：「雪峯門下幾箇如斯。」

Xuansha asked Nanjis, saying, "Only I can know this matter; how does the elder understand it?" Nanjis said, "You must know there is one who does not seek to know." In an alternative [the Master] said, "How many under Xuefeng's gate are like this?"
