有時云：「雄兵百萬且定鞭疆，劍客三千若為驅使？」代云：「不許夜行，投明須到。」

At times he would say: "A million valiant troops have pacified the frontier; how are three thousand swordsmen to be dispatched?" Speaking on their behalf, he said: "Night travel is not permitted; one must arrive by daybreak."
