師一日問僧：「儞浴未？」僧云：「某甲此生不浴。」師云：「儞不浴，圖箇什麼？」僧云：「今日被和尚勘破。」師云：「賊不打貧兒家。」
One day the master asked a monk: "Have you bathed yet?" The monk said: "I do not bathe in this lifetime." The master said: "If you do not bathe, what are you seeking?" The monk said: "Today I have been seen through by the upādhyāya." The master said: "Thieves do not rob a poor man's house."
