斬釘截鐵，大巧若拙，一句單提，不會佛法，儘他葉落華開，不問春寒秋熱，別別，萬古碧潭空界月。

Cutting nails and shearing iron; / great skill appears clumsy. / A single phrase held up aloft: / "I do not understand the Buddhadharma." / Let the leaves fall and the flowers blossom; / do not ask about spring chill or autumn heat. / Distinct and unique: / for ten thousand eons, the moon in the empty sky of the green pool.
