舉：「雪峯示眾云：『三世諸佛在火焰裏轉大法輪。』玄沙云：『火焰為三世諸佛說法，三世諸佛立地聽。』」

[Yuanwu] brought up [the case]: "Xuefeng addressed the assembly, saying, 'The Buddhas of the three periods turn the great wheel of the Dharma in the midst of flames.' Xuansha said, 'The flames preach the Dharma for the Buddhas of the three periods; the Buddhas of the three periods stand on the ground listening.'"
