句中沒禪，格外無玄，當面不見，斷莫可傳，似玉溫潤，如月孤圓，氣媚川源，光流大千。

Within the phrase there is no Chan; / beyond the pattern there is no mystery. / Face to face, unseen; / utterly impossible to transmit. / Moist and gentle as jade, / solitary and round as the moon; / its aura flatters rivers and sources; / its light streams through the great thousand.
