本無箇面目，突出六十七，今汝強圖貌，頂門欠三隻。七處入鬧藍，近來稍寧謐，若更打葛藤，豈有休歇日。三十年後與人看，圓悟從前沒窠窟。

Originally without a face, / jutting out at sixty-seven. / Now you forcefully paint his likeness; / the crown lacks three eyes. / In seven places entering bustling monasteries; / recently somewhat tranquil. / If one further weaves entangling vines, / how could there ever be a day of rest? / Thirty years later, show it to people: / Yuanwu never had a nest or cave.
