上堂：「水底泥牛嚼生鐵，憍梵鉢提咬著舌，海神怒把珊瑚鞭，須彌山王痛不徹。」拍禪床下座。

Ascending the hall: / "At the bottom of the water, a mud ox chews raw iron; / Gavāmpati bites his own tongue. / The ocean god in anger brandishes a coral whip; / The pain of Mount Sumeru King is unceasing." / Striking the meditation bed, he stepped down from the seat.
