Formerly, Commandant Li Wenhe studied under Chan Master Shimen Cizhao Cong and awakened to the Linji lineage's principle. He had a verse: "To study the Way you must be an iron fellow; / once you set your hand to it, make up your mind at once: / directly grasp unexcelled bodhi, / and pay no heed to any right and wrong." How wondrous are these words! They can serve as a catalyst to trigger the seeds of light.
